In his free time, Jarrett serves as President of a Native Hawaiian nonprofit organization that has partnered with respected groups such as The Salvation Army, the Domestic Violence Action Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, and Hui Māhiai ʻĀina, while also providing direct support to individuals and families in need across the islands.

Hiro brings over 30 years of experience providing therapeutic support and mentoring for children and families across Hawaiʻi, Oregon, and Japan. His work focuses on grief, trauma, and supporting children with disabilities. Outside of his professional life, Hiro enjoys playing the ʻukulele and staying active through paddling, surfing, baseball, golf, and Judo.
